red wine obtained from Primitivo grapes, grown at a height of 100 – 250 meters, in the municipality of Brindisi. Vine production is 90-100 qq/ha. The cultivation system is the stimulated cord or Guyot type. Harvesting takes place during the last decade of August and the first / second decade of September.

 

WINE
The grapes are harvested manually and checked at the winery. They are then subjected to stemming, inoculation with selected yeasts and alcoholic fermentation, lasting at least 8-10 days, at a temperature of 18 to 20 °C. Once alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is matured in steel containers.

 

Grape Varieties: 100% Primitivo.
Color: ruby red with violet reflections.
Aromas: notes of ripe fruit, especially plum and blackberry and light notes of cinnamon.
Mouth: soft and velvety.
Pairing: red and white meats and slightly mature cheeses.
